Allow Me To Introduce Myself
Hi! My name is Dmitry, but on the internet nobody knows about it.
(Did you know that there is a Wikipedia article about this picture in 26 languages?)
On the internet I may be known as Demetri, TaintedGenius or Synthoel (lately mostly as Synthoel). I am 27 years old, live in Ukraine and do web development.
Today I’m starting my own blog. Yay!
(Well, actually, success is so-so, just below average)
I’ll be posting all sorts of things here. First and foremost, I will write about my projects (devlogs, release notes, that sort of thing). Also, something about my personal life may appear here occasionally. I am going to write in two languages: Russian and English. I should warn you at once: my English is far from perfect, but I will do my best, I swear. I can’t vouch for the frequency of posts - it does take time to write them, after all (and my enthusiasm can wear off easily). But I will try to write something at least once a month. I think I’ll be glad if someone reads this at some point, although I won’t know about it anyway (unless you, let’s say, email me about it) - there are no comments on the posts (and there won’t be any)!
(Ahhahaha, there won’t be any of your comments here!)
What is this blog for, then, if I’m not even sure anyone will read it? I believe that any blog is a kind of a diary, which means that first of all - I write it for myself, just to organize my thoughts. Also, if I’m going to post devlogs on my projects here - it will help me to keep better track of progress on them. And one more thing: I ordered a logo for my pseudo-company (which also could be my pseudo-family crest) from Fiverr - how can I not at least make a landing page with it?
If someone is reading this after all - then, um, I don’t even now… thank you? I will do my best make some effort to keep you interested. See you!
